Each year group has two dedicated natterhub sessions per day. Each day we focus on Literacy and Numeracy and bring to the lessons the same priniciples and practises as we use in the classroom.
In Literacy the children will be reading model texts, creating story maps, identifying words for the Never Heard The Word Grids (NHTWG), creating boxed up plans and using toolkits.
In Numeracy they will reflect daily on prior learning, focus on the language of maths, create mathematical NHTWG, use toolkits to support independent practise and extend understanding by completing Think and Reasoning Questions.
A detailed weekly timetable for each class (see below) points the children towards further remote learning programmes, eg. Oak Academy Lessons. There are also specific links given to school resources such as IXL, which will support the work of the natterhub sessions.
